Airquick Trainwash plants are uniquely placed in the train washing market. We utilise proven design principles and earned ingenuity to deliver high performance plants that are user-friendly, whilst requiring minimal maintenance. Every plant is tailored to suit individual requirements, rolling stock and operating constraints.
Performance
Our rotor design, materials used and configuration are based on the latest research. Utilising optimised combinations of brush (or flail) diameter, speed, nominal contact and carefully calculated water and detergent application, our plants meet and beat current industry requirements for vehicle cleanliness.
Economic Operation

Optimum performance is achieved by utlising only proven, but cost-effective chemicals, which are precisely metered and economically applied.
Project Life
To extend the life of a plant our designs employ structural steelwork, being either hot-dipped galvanized or stainless steel. Pivots and other components that are subject to corrosion are provided in stainless steel wherever feasible.
Availability & Maintenance
Our design process considerations incorporate readily available components, providing predictable, low-cost lifetime maintenance.
Security & Safety
Staff safety is a priority that is built into all our designs, together with ensuring that no damage can occur to rolling stock or plant under normal operating conditions.
Control System
The Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) is the hub of the operating system.
Remote access to these controls can be made available, enabling access from any of the customer’s premises, with additional monitoring from our headquarters.
